Wintergreen Hunting Preserve is a family owned and operated public hunting preserve. The exceptional quality of our gamebirds and hunting grounds have given us the reputation of having some of the finest hunting in the south. We can provide experienced guides with well trained dogs or you are welcome to use your own dogs.
Season from December 1st through March 31st
Morning hunts from 9:00am to 12:00pm and afternoon hunts from 1:30pm to 4:30pm
No more than 4 people allowed per party including guide on guided hunts
Valid NC Hunting or Preserve license required
No bag limit
Hunter orange required
Price $10 per quail released with a minimum release of 10 birds per hunter
$60 per hunter for dogs and guide on guided hunts
